Björk – Immature Lyrics 18 years ago
I agree with jimmyupt.

I don't understand the song as "you don't need anyone to make you feel complete" - I think it's more about realising you're not complete. And you're lover shouldn't necessarily complete you.
If you think it as a continuation of 5 years, you could say that she is a coward too, because she was so lazy: she thought they would complete eachother and that the "completeness" would keep them together. But as 5 years also indicates: You have to fight for love.

"Spark the sun off" - you can't see the Aurora in sunlight.

She's not singing "utter mundane". It is gibberish inspired by Icelandic. What you think is "utter" sounds more like "alt sem", which means "all that..." I can't really understand the "mundane"-part. No matter what: it is gibberish. It doesn't mean anything. I guess it's to give her some space to improvise - that she's not "tied" to certain words all the way.

Many of Björk's songs have a lot of meanings. For example Declare Independance: it's about Greenland and the Faroe Islands, but is also taking the piss of this over-dramatic "phrase".
This song can both be about herself and her brother.

By the way - she's not singing "squads". She just pronounce "d" pretty hard here.

I have always understood the line: "You can't handle love" as no-one can handle love. If you want love, you have to fight for it - if you don't fight for it, you're a coward. She dares him to fight for their love but he is a coward.
