If you go by what Sojourneyman said, it makes me think of a plane with a bomb on it in the line: "The flame deluge is waiting in the wings; The smallest thread holds back the second flood." And if you think about that standpoint and then listen to the last two lines in the song, the way Dustin sings it, is reminiscent of an air raid siren, at least to me. |
