I have no idea what the lyrics are supposed to mean but I somehow feel that Ladytron know their talents and that can be found in Helen Marnie's voice. So while the lyrics to this song may not mean much (in my opinion) the way they are sung and expressed is what makes it a standout |

The lyrics don't mean much to me but really this is their best song since "Lucky and Unhappy" at least. I think while Talkie Walkie was good, the songs on the album may not stand the test of time, whereas this really is such a repeatable song, it's so basic yet so catchy and memorable I'm sure it will stand as one of the band's highlights. If only JBD could stop singing in English and keep it up by singing in French. |

This song is so good up until the final guitar feedback. It's too fucked up I think. They were brilliant at it on "We're an American band" but they perfected it with "Pass the Hatchet". Still a great song though |
