This song (and the other songs on the album) doesn't have any lyrics. At least not the English words that somebody wrote above. It's all just sounds, gibberish, and while a lot of people seem to hear English words, you don't have to. You can just hear the song as it is in itself without bothering with language. |

To me this is an ambivalent text. Like go.home said, wanting to just "be your housewife" in this day and age is not so much, and it sounds very satirical when it comes from CocoRosie.
Still, there's something romantic and naive about this text that makes it so interesting! While it's being sarcastic, it's maybe also a genuine wish for a simple life, just being by someones side.. and that's very sweet :) |
