The Who – Underture Lyrics

This is about Tommy's reaction to the acid given by the acid queen. It takes a long time to wear off, supposedly, and I imagine his parents were very unhappy. |

It's the same guitar riff from Sparks and Underture, I've just realised. |

The Who – Welcome Lyrics

He's basically telling them to come to his house so he can give out important sermons and teach his religion to them. Unfortunately, the house gets too full and so he builds a holiday camp. |

The Who – Pinball Wizard Lyrics

I like this song because in most of the past songs on the album, Tommy sounds hopeless at everything. But this song shows that there is one thing Tommy is good at (not just good at but extremely brilliant at): pinball. |

The Who – It's a Boy! Lyrics

At the end of the song 'Glow Girl', they sing "It's a girl, Mrs Walker, it's a girl." Of course, the Who Sell Out album came before Tommy, so it must have been derived from there or something. |

Genesis – The Cinema Show Lyrics

I agree with most of these comments, especially the previous one. There is more earth than sea. There's more sea than earth on the surface, but way deep underground, there's nothing but earth. So this is what makes it true.
The only part of this song I particularly like is the ending instrumental. In fact, this is my favourite song of all time and it's all because of that part. Thank God this song exists. |

Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford make this song sound easy to play along to, when it actually takes a lot of experience. |

This song's a complete masterpiece; I never get bored of it. In fact, every Genesis song's a masterpiece. I agree with a couple of other people's comments: this song is like a story. Simply wonderful. |
