| Bring Me the Horizon – Fuck (feat. Josh Franceschi) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I HATE THESE FUCKING ADS. | |
| Bring Me the Horizon – Anthem Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Been touched by Christ? Idk if you have a different version or what, but when I hear it she ends at "touched." | |
| Bring Me the Horizon – The Fox and the Wolf (feat. Josh Scogin) Lyrics | 15 years ago |

You said it's only a one off, only a line. But, now it's a circle all of the time. I LOVE these lines. Reminds me of a line in another song, "a line allows progress, a circle does not." A line turns into a circle, a habit, an addition he cannot break out of. Heaven and Hell are metaphors related to the figures presented in It Never Ends video. |

| Bring Me the Horizon – Home Sweet Hole Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I think this is about addiction. Home is a place of familiarity, somewhere you always go back to. Despite his struggles to "learn from his mistakes," he just "forgets them" again and ends up back "home," which is inevitably his curse or..hole. | |
| Bring Me the Horizon – Blacklist Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Reminescent of Sleep with One Eye Open. I think the above two posters are right. This song is about someone who took all he had for granted. "We started this together and it should have stuck." "To see someone not give a shit, despite of all of this." someone - Curtis. |

| Bring Me the Horizon – It Never Ends Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Couldn't have said it better myself. This is a perfect explanation, I thought these same things when I read the lyrics off BMTH's myspace! | |
| Dredg – Quotes Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
There's a way, a way to squash all of your fears When everyone around you seems to be a stranger You feel their eyes upon you, you're hearing their thoughts As they walk away, the voice grows louder Illusions illuminate Why let illusions dictate your next move? You're bound by deception, and a misled direction This describes social anxiety perfectly.. |

| The Faint – Machine in the Ghost Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| In its simplest form, this song is about agnosticism. "No," say, "We don't know." | |
| Emilíana Torrini – Is Jesus Your Pal? Lyrics | 17 years ago |

If you reach out for more, You'll find nothing but sorrow. 'Cause knowledge is hollow. And pride is hard to swallow. I think these lines refer to how some people acknowledge the absurdity of religion but despite it all they choose to believe in it, and even though sometimes it can be so obvious..(that it isn't real), no one will admit it to themselves and keep on believing. |

| The Airborne Toxic Event – Wishing Well Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| For the most part I think this song is about wanting something amazing to happen in a life you're fed up with. Same shit everyday; boring, long drawn-out days, nothing ever works out right. He just wants *something* to happen that makes life not seem so dull. Maybe it ties in at the end about a girl that made his life worthwhile, but something happened and they're no longer together, and he's lost that sort of alive feeling. | |
| The Airborne Toxic Event – Does This Mean You're Moving On? Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this song's meaning is pretty clear. And it's so..true. I think we've all been in situations like this. It really hurts. I love this song :) | |
| Muse – Eternally Missed Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I love this song..but I'm sure what it means. I'm surprised more people haven't commented on it. This is what I think~ He's involved with a girl and she wants to be with him, but something's keeping her from it and the only way they can be together is in secret. "The sun forgives the clouds" he understands her position from this line, the clouds cover he sun inevitably, it either has to be like this or not at all. "Glass needles in the hay" refer to how invisible their true relationship to everyone around them is, or something like that~ "Chase your dreams away," her dream is to be with him but she can't, thus her dream is chased away. It isn't "real" in a sense, but he's ok with that, and she's his "holy shroud," something "holy" or beautiful in a way, but "shroud" as in concealed. He doesn't care if it has to be kept a secret, it still feels great to him because he loves her.. After trying to analyze this song it sounds a lot like an affair to me. Maybe 'eternally missed' refers to when the relationship has to end and what they had was so special neither of them will ever forget about it~ thus the relationship being eternally missed. |

| Muse – Hate This and I'll Love You Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
When I heard this I thought it was clearly about his loss of faith in religion and how he feels like all those years were wasted where he felt boxed in and tied to this deity he started to have doubts about. "You're making me feel Like I was born to service you But I am growing by the hour" "'Cause I was born to destroy you I am growing by the hour I'm getting strong in every way" Now in his maturity he learns the truth about religion and is growing stronger in his new perspective because of past experiences. But that is just how I see it.. Matt seems to take an agnostic view in all his songs relating to religion. I love this song. |

| Five Finger Death Punch – White Knuckles Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Sick of being sick and tired, Sick of understanding How many people really care? How many will be standing? I'll light the match, the flame, the fuse, the bomb, Rescue the world from slavery. I won't eat another rotten apple, Though I've grown to like the taste. Some of the lines sound almost political to me. The average person sees no corruption in how things are ran and can see no further than themselves, and he's lived in the lie because of how easy it has been (rotten apple line), but he's come to realize how messed up it is and how other people can so easily ignore it, and he wants to do something about it.. |
