This song to me is about someone that is being pulled in all different directions by people. He wants to be everything to everyone. He wants to be everybody's friend, so he goes with the flow and does what he thinks everybody else wants him to do. Then he loses himself in the process and his worst fear of being the one that everybody hates starts to come true. Even though they might not necessarily feel that way, to him they do b/c the person that they know is not really who he is. At the end of the song, he's lost the best thing he's ever had, his identity. IMHO |

Addiction. This song to me is about two people in a relationship where they are both addicted to whatever drugs and/or alcohol and they cant discover each other teh way they should because of the substance abuse. He knows that the drugs are what's keeping them from progressing, but neither of them can really do anything about it. |

To me this is about a person who's in a relationship that's starting to fall apart. I think "you are the one to abuse" is figurative in that he just treats her bad all the time, maybe used her for sex and she never really meant that much to him. Now it's ending and she wont touch him anymore. But the second verse makes it seem as if the abuse is real. "You're always talking back to me, you wont let it be" indicates to me that he's not really interested in what she has to say. And it hints that it's something that's his fault because she wont let it be. |
