To me this song is about an ending of a relationship and how this girl is so depressed and upset over it, she cuts herself. "You're not the first girl to draw her fears on her arms in hopes to capture all the memories that hunted you down" - Basically means shes not the first girl that cuts hersellf over that past that 'hunts' her. I think it could also be interpretted as 'haunt'. "But don't look down because I don't know, falling is fatal from this height i know, I should've never held you up, this high" Self explanatory I think. Basically its like, he shouldn't have built her up so much in the relationship if eventually it was going to end. The fall being "fatal", I think, is a metaphor for the painful, ending of a relationship. Yeah, thats pretty much it, I'm probs wrong haha, then again its just my opionion. |

This is such an amazing song, makes my eyes water whenever I listen to it. I think what the song is about is the guy is telling the girl he wants to break up because he just dosent see it going anywhere and it looks like theyre never gonna work it out. "Sendin' pages I ain't supposed to Got somebody here but I want you Cause the feelin ain't the same find myself Callin' her your name" In that part, I think hes in a new relationship but he still misses the other girl. "cause the feelin ain't the same, find myself callin' her, your name" shows that. Looooove this song. |
