There's one problem with your interpretation gelaa, though I don't necessarily have a better explanation. It says: "I'd rather risk my fate than lose my faith IN the lovin, the hatin" etc. Which means to me that all of these things in the chorus are things that he has faith in. Which seems a little strange. Thoughts? |

| Ok, here's what I've always taken this song to mean, though i could be completely wrong, and looking back, there isn't actually that much to back me up... regardless: I always thought it could be about the way mass media is affecting social interactions. People sit at home, with their cell phones, the internet, XBox live, etc, and FEEL like they're being social, like they're interacting with other humans, when really, there's no one else there. Feel free to rip that apart. | |
