As much as Peter Steele is kind of a misogynistic bastard, his lyrics can have great flow and be really clever; these in particular are pretty damn funny.
I'm gay and have seen the playgirl pictures (godDAMN he's hot (got very handsome eyes too)) but I can honestly see why he'd feel a bit embarrassed/shocked/angry about noticing that most playgirl stuff goes to men after the photos got published. XP
Considering the absolutely ridiculousness of things like this, I like to think that he's being somewhat facetious. But if as many random guys just came up to him wanting a fuck because of that photoshoot as this song implies, I think he's got a bit of a right to be kind of annoyed with fags in general here. xP |

Does the character Howard Roark from the novel The Fountainhead occur to anyone else when listening to this song?
Like, the being hated and spurned by everyone, but keeping your pride and your happiness and such?
I'm sorry if that's stupid... |

Probably the best tune on Tha Carter III. I'd say it's a thousand times more infectious than "Lollipop" (I goddamn hate that song along with half of the rest of the album-- but the other half of the album I love). |

I GODDAMN SWEAR that the first line isn't "She said..." but "/I/ said..."
Needless to say, I think Lil Wayne sounds like one of those closet-case guys who need to assert their heterosexuality as much as possible. |

I'd think the "my name is superfantastic" line absolutely horrible in most cases-- except that the singer's name is Alex Kopranos, and that name is superfantastic. |

I'm torn on what this song could be about--
You could look at the way it talks about the contrast as taking a look at a poser or something, with the last bit being sung in a tongue-in-cheek way... But there's also that it's a weird/adorable way to say "look closer" about the goth kid...
I dunno, I'm dumb. I'm sorry. |

Considering how this song seems to be almost making fun of an English lesson, I kind of always thought "Li'l Jon" might've referred to poet/playwright Ben Jonson...
Yeah, I'm sorry if that's a dumb way of looking at it. |

A friend of mine said that the Norwegian line actually "you're not the destroyer OF cunt" so... that changes things in some way, don't it? |

Is it just me or do the songs pre- The Past is a Grotesque Animal sounds rather quick and high-tempo and almost spazzy with lyrics that seem extremely depressive and hopeless, whereas post- PIAGA, they're more calm almost funk with lyrics that seem a lot more confrontational and aggressive? |

A lot of people call the Georgie Fruit thing a rip-off of Bowie's Ziggy Stardust.
Did the bowie song from the Stardust album occur to anyone with the line "you ain't got no soul power"? |

Hey, did anyone notice that, considering the supposed story of the album (Kevin Barnes's "transformation" to "Georgie Fruit" with this as the main action of that transformation), the alst line is "none of our secrets are physical now" and a prominent part of Suffer For Fashion is "We've got to keep it physical"... And even the latter half of the song, after 'tear[ing] the shit apart' the mood seems to change sort of; from resistance to embrace...
I dunno, I probably sound like a dumbass. Sorry. |

Not sure if anyone mentioned it as of yet (because I'll be damned if I'm reading all of these entries just to check), but, mostly due to the use of sleigh bells in the song, it kind of gives me a feeling of winter and the image of snow falling-- which would fit for the direct imagery of the song, because it'd be easier to crash a car in the ice and snow.
But yeah, sorry if that's dumb. |

Maybe you should stop thinking about what it's about and just consider that it might just be Karin and Olof being somewhat sarcastic.-- That said, This is one of the most hilarious songs I've ever heard, hands down. |
