My favourite song. Purely beautiful. I'm surprised no one has understood the way I did. I don't think it is about a girl (it does say she's not anyone) - if it did it beauty in my mind would be lessoned. I think it is about himself - the part of himself that creates songs. His songbird. I hope you understand what I'm getting at. The whole lyric is an extended metaphor. The song is a reapyment to his 'songbird'. |
