This song is about a girl who doesn't want to be with him anymore. Mat was going through a break-up at the time. I don't know where you get suicide... End it all is a reference to the relationship. Hence the lyrics "I am right here and I am waiting", "Will you fight for me and not back down", "Well I hate pouring my heart out". Definitely a break-up song. |

He doesnt want to believe it, but if its true he doesnt want her around. She is "under the gun" meaning that she is all alone because he is gone, so she "takes it on the run" meaning she sleeps around. |
