| I love how the Part 1 has a quieter, more depressed sound because it's from whoever is considering suicide and how Part 2 captures the angry, upset feeling of everyone around him as a response. "I just want to die, take away my life, lay by your side," is such powerful lyrics. My brother had attempted suicide and thankfully had not gone through with it. It made me think a lot about how I would feel if he actually had and I think these two songs really capture the emotion. One of the reasons I love Waking the Fallen. A7X was writing meaningful songs and wasn't writing to become popular. | |

This song is one of my favorites off the album. I'm actually doing a painting inspired by this song. I agree that this is very religiously based, due to "High above they're taking over you", "There's something greater there" and "Why believe in nothing?" (the correct lyrics). for MIripper99: I saw them with LP before I listened to them at all. But, they weren't on the main-stage so they didn't have stadium seatings.. Technically they never sold out. They changed, but because they had to. Selling out is more of "changing for the masses". |
