I was told by a friend of mine that the song is about Syd being lonely his whole life. He said, "His mom didn't love him, he never had a girl, and he spent most of his life alone." I don't know if this is true or what, but whatever it is, I love this song. It's amazingly written, and beautifully put together. Floyd is one of my favorite bands ever. |
