I also discovered this song through The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I downloaded it while I was almost done with the book, and I listened to it non-stop as I read all the way through to the ending. It left me in tears. |

I agree with ars musica, it's about the loneliness on the other side of the spotlight. I first heard this sung by Robert Sean Leonard in the movie Chelsea Walls. Beautiful film. |
