I think it's that he's falling for her, but she won't return the favor. He just doesn't know anymore and she's not making it any easier. So he turns to some form of medication that helps to get through the rought times. I mostly look at these songs through my life- I take events from my life and put them into the effect of the song. Mostly because these songs greatly resemble distorted thoughts and un-happy events of mine. |

Ok. So I basically read all these comments- yea I've gotta lot of free time. Um some I can see, some I canf ully agree with, and other- bull fucking shit. I personally have experienced the whole "addiction" and "self-harm" thing. And 1) it is not all "emo" and shit. not all "emo's" cut, and not all cutters are "emo". I personally, would know. Now, on a lighter note. I see it like this. You reach a certain point in life where it's like everything is getting fucked up, and you don't know what to do. You consider suicide, but after some time, you come to the conclusion that it's not worth it. You'd rather live in pain, then die, and feel nothing. Hence, "I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all". Part of interpertation is from the lyrics and some of it is thoughts and beliefs I have recently taken to. |
