| The Almost – Amazing Because It Is Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| wow these lyrics are amazing.. i havent heard the actual song yet but i am definetely gona get it.. he is obviously talking about the grace of God and how our salvation is not based upon the things we do but its based upon God's mercy and grace. It is not something we can earn.. it is a gift from Jesus. He saved a wretch like me.. and I am so thankful He did. | |
| Mark Schultz – He Will Carry Me Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song made me realize that God will always be there with us through the storms in our lives and that good things can come from the suffering we go through. I listened to this song repeatedly when i was going through a tough time. I was having to go to a brand new school where i didnt know anybody and on top of that my family also decided to change churches. I struggled with loneliness because i hardly ever got to see my old friends and I felt like there was no way i could possibly fit in where I was. But God knew what He wanted for me. One of my friends from my old school invited us to go to her church. It turns out that we loved it and half the ppl who went there also went to my new school. God knew exactly what He was doing. And also now this song helps my grandmother who has cancer. She knows that "even though she is wounded in the battle, He is all the strength she will ever need. He will carry her". So to anyone who is going through a storm remember that God knows what will happen and He has a plan for everyone, even if you feel as if your circumstances are hopeless. One must go through the rain and darkness to truly enjoy the sunshine when it comes. | |
| Avenged Sevenfold – Beast and the Harlot Lyrics | 18 years ago |

These lyrics are straight out of the Bible. its in Revelation chapters 16-18. It is obviously talking about events that will happen at the end of the world. The woman represents the city of Babylon ( Rev. 17:5). The beast represents the anti-christ( Rev. 17:8). Here's some of the lyrics with the location of the Biblical references if yall wanna read them... its pretty interesting This shining city built of gold, a far cry from innocence (Rev. 17:3-4, 18:16) There's more than meets the eye 'round here, look to the waters of the deep(Rev. 17:15) A city of evil There sat a seven-headed beast, ten horns raised from his head (Rev. 17: 3, 17:7-14) Symbolic woman sits on his throne, but hatred strips her and leaves her naked (Rev. 17:16) The Beast and the Harlot She's a dwelling place for demons She's a ditch for every unclean spirit, every filthy bird And makes us drink the poisoned wine to fornicate here with our kings (Rev. 18: 2-3) Fallen now is Babylon the Great The city dressed in jewels and gold, fine linen, Myrrh and pearls Her plagues will come all at once as her mourners watch her burn Destroyed in an hour (Rev. 18: 10) Merchants and captains of the world, sailors, navigators too Will weep and mourn this loss with her sins piled to the sky(Rev. 18:11-19) The Beast and the Harlot |
