Ah, This song is gorgeous. The lyrics. The Instruments. The Imagery that you get from the whole effect. It's like the song paints a picture in your mind, the minute you hear. I had it on my I-pod but have never really listened to it. It turned up on shuffle and I fell in love. I think it's about a couple who either splits or gets into a fight. At the end of the day one of them realizes that it was dumb for them to break up/fight. I think it means that his gril has this perfect image of him but he just can't seem to live up to it. She's more in love with the idea of him rather than the boy himself. And keeps him around because maybe someday he will 'surprise' her with being that perfect guy. Also, "I don't want you to love me anymore" I think this refers to the fact the girlfriend is clingy but when he finally leaves her, he regrets it. |

I love how each of DCFC's songs make you think. Each person has there own take on it and I really think it depends on what you've been through to understand. Maybe that was the intention, the song will never be fully understood, but we can try as hard as we can to figure it out. That's the best part. |
