Thank you! I've been reading through these comments to see if anyone thought the same way I do. In a language that you can't read- We can't possibly understand all of God's grace and mercy. And what better way to describe Him than "a book elegantly bound." Mirrored perspective- Awesome way of saying that we need to strive to be like God. We'll be lovers at last- We are God's bride and he is our groom. We just have to accept His proposal (that was about the cheesiest way I could've said that). I won't let you let me down so easily- God's love is relentless. He will absolutely not give up on us until we give Him everything we've got to give. And I didn't realize until I read these lyrics that Ben says, "just yet" at the end of the first verse. That just makes it even more perfect. I don't know if Ben knows where these lyrics came from, but I can't imagine them coming from anywhere other than God. You gotta spend some time with me- Reading the Bible (words directly from God), praying, and spending time with God are best ways to get close to Him. He's relentless. He will possess our hearts with His perfect, unfailing love. If I miss anything, let me know. I love finding songs like this. Love, asg_soup |
