I think is song is about an unrequited love which the girl experienced. She kept trying her best, having this illusion that he'll accept her one day. But in the end, he only sees her as a friend and she knows well that she needs to move on even tho she's deeply in love with him. I think the meaning of this song is about a guy and a girl whose relationship is very rocky. While the guy is trying his best to fix the relationship as he loves this girl so much, the damage has already been done. [But maybe some day we'll meet again Whenever that day never comes it would be to soon (move along)] I think even if he tries and doesn't succeed, he's ready to move on. |

I think this song is about a guy and a girl who were just good friends while the guy expressed his true feelings to her and wanted to be more than friends, the girl didn't. Maybe she was in love with him, but wasn't sure whether he was the right one. They stayed as friends, but as time goes by, the girl probably realized that he was who she really wanted, but by the time she told him that she loved him all along and wanted him, the guy had probably moved on. "Can't help but entertain these thoughts Thoughts of us together" Gotta love that line. Shows that the guy might still have feelings for her and is willing to consider. |
