| Emanuel – Scenotaph Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| As with most songs on this album, I think this song is about the end of the world. Couldn't give any specific meanings, though. | |
| Emanuel – Breathe Underwater Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Really? I thought the song was about getting wasted/high, passing out in the wheel, and waking up to discover that you're in a river, sinking. You manage to make it home, but all of your friends end up dying. |

Ah. After reading some of the other comments, I guess it makes more sense. I thought this song was literally about trying to get someone to kill themselves so that the narrator and whoever is with him/her can film it. =/ |

| Emanuel – Phobos Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I'm pretty sure this song is literally about the Greek(?) god Phobos. | |
| Emanuel – Soundtrack to a Headrush Lyrics | 18 years ago |

IMO, The narrator gets high, enters a state of depression and wants to be driven home because he knows that, if he drives, he'll end up killing himself and anyone in the car. Along the way, he vomits, realizes how ridiculous whatever drug(s) he took are, and vows to never do it again. Fucking love Emanuel. |

| Chiodos – The Undertaker's Thirst for Revenge Is Unquenchable (The Final Battle) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
tizisdead is right, except for a single minor error that my near-OCDishness has compelled me to point out. "that heaven and earth may strike their sounds together, worlds are run this way, and we've all been there time and time again" "Have" should not be in there. [= |

| Chiodos – Teeth The Size Of Piano Keys Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The album "All's Well That Ends Well" was based on a set of poems, too, I thought. At least a few of the songs. | |
| Chiodos – I Didn't Say I Was Powerful, I Said I Was A Wizard Lyrics | 18 years ago |

It's: Sightings of shape shifting Dissolved into the darkness A final opinion is of less value Than an appreciation of Intolerance for obscurity ...not "and tolerance." And bardoc2k2. GTFO. [= |

So I didn't have time to read all of your comments, but I can confirm this much: Street Spirit: "Secondly, I thought it was sinking, but I've spoken to people who OWN the CD and therefore the lyric booklet, and it's shaking. So yeah, there we go. Your poor mind can rest easy." I OWN the CD too, and I can positively tell you that that part of the song isn't even in there. Many, MANY of the lyrics in the book are wrong, so don't trust it. At first, I thought it said, "What a nice surprise; she's sinkin', she's sinkin'." Although, I must admit, I haven't listened to the song and thought anything other than that, so it's probably wrong. |

| Chiodos – Is It Progression If A Cannibal Uses A Fork? Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
It's "solemn tolling of the funeral bell[s]." "Flowers of red..." isn't even in the song. Don't trust the lyrics book for BPB; a lot of the lyrics in the book are nowhere to be heard on the CD. Chiodos sounds slightly like Panic! and MyChem at certain parts, but definitely not most of it. I agree that the last song is the best, which is almost all screaming. Now. What does it mean? Seems to me to be about a horror story. I think people look too deeply into certain songs; I'll admit that Chiodos can get pretty deep, but I don't think this is one of those songs. Just my two cents. [= |
