I think this song isn't a tribute. It's more like "now that i'm famous you love me" since he also refers to everyone turning their back once he wouldn't be popular anymore. a brilliant record all in all. the only thing that i don't like about the record is that it has much about the problems of being famous, which is kinda hard to relate to. although the songs and melodies in itself are incredible, this one in particular. |
