Basically, the song is talking about his life support, saying that he doesn't want his life in the hands of a Machine. If you watch the video clip (which is awsome) it shows not only what seems to be happening now, but also what will happen if everybody entrusts their lives to machines, eventually making all machines the cause of both our survival and death. |

I would say that he's in a relationship that is based soley on sex and he doesn't really love the girl. He wants to end it because of this but he doesn't want to lose her because he believes that, if given the chance, they can fall in love, and not just have it based on sex. Thats what it says to me, anyway. |
