This song is absolutely beautiful first of all. I think the first verse is talking about how he is acting cold with his previous love now. "I'll say yes and then I'll say no"-- maybe that has to do with his committment/indecisiveness. He first said yes to her, and now he's changed his mind. |

i feel like this song came straight out of my diary too :) for me, or at least how this song has played out in my life... this is about a summer romance. It felt so right at the time and though both of them knew it was not the right time, it seemed like sometime in the near future, they would be together.. he would realize she's "the one". they've both moved away, for me we both moved.. seperate colleges, finding their own friends and she's waiting now for him to realize that he needs to make his move. He doesn't want to get into a long distance relationship because he's scared that they'll get too close and it won't work.. so he goes out and has his fun and she is miserable, writing this song lol. Now, even though the future is up in the air, the song is "undone".. they will still have that summer where they enjoyed each other in thier memories, she will keep that memory alive in her songs. |
