Seems they based the entire album off of a Ouija board (genius source of inspiration) one section states "The Soothsayer offers them names: Goliath, Mr. Mugs, Patience Worth, Tourniquet Man. The Soothsayer offers them a story: It's always about a man, a woman, and her mother. About the lust floating between them. About seduction and infidelity. And pain. And eventually, murder. Entrails and absence and curses and oblivion. Exactly the kind of spooky shit you'd want from your Ouija." sure i can see that in this song... lust, infidelity, murder... back in 2005/// shalawesome... did a "rough translation" I took three years of spanish, and i have to say, i suppose this shalawesome person took spanish in high school and picked up as much as i did. i laughed until i cried reading the translation. i couldnt help but remember how many times id half translate and half make things up on some homework assignments. that was fun. but really, this is an amazing song. : ) the words are crazy beautiful as can be expected. |

i think its pretty strait forward what this song is about. these are the thoughts and emotions of a girl being abused by the man of the house. notice she says touch US again. this makes me think of a husband that abuses his wife and daughter. the end is a bit of a turn around from the beginning. it switches from its all my fault to its all your fault... from not being able to help loving this jerk, to her being ready to kill him. amazing |

i love the line ... I love this song to death (thus my name on here) It screams "I am who I am and I am the shit... no matter what!" A song of pride. when listening to PJ, i hear a lot of lesbian references. I just love how each person can take one song and find a million completely different meanings. My first impression of the song was that it was about a girl loving a girl. so lovesick i could die I'd give just everything She's got me so mesmerized not to mention the line... i drew her down on me. another note: memory loss, stiff neck, being awake all night and having your head hurt... all effects of uppers like cocaine and methamphetamine... which you can shoot up with needles. |

the album "To Bring You My Love" was very dark/haunting. a lot of religion is discussed in her songs on there... well, thats what i think. is this about baptisim?... at first it seems shes all for this baptism... then theres the line about drowning. signifying a lack of belief? Snakes are commonly evil symbols. Voodoo is for sure work of the devil. Moaning is not really an angelic sound. lol. I love it, i just wish i understood. am i on the right track at all? |
