This song rings so true for me right now. I’ve just got involved with and guy and at first I got scared and tried to back away from him. I claimed it was because of him but it was just my insecurities from everything that’s happened to me in my past. But he stuck around and he’s helping me through everything. I realise now he’s the best things that’s happened to me in so long and he’s helping me become so much more open and honest. For me this song is about realising when you need to take risks and put yourself out there. It’s about accepting your past but refusing to let it take control of your future and admitting you need help every once in a while. |
