Oh okay. By the way, I'm almost positive it's actually "The beauty and the filth and the logic on a tilt, we must have measured wrong - look at this wreck we've built." |

It just wouldn't make sense if it had NOTHING to do with vampires at all, though. I really agree with the thought that it's a metaphor for what he's doing and how much he loves the girl, but the metaphor is about vampires. On the way to her house, he's nervous about asking her this question, and that may be the part about his pale complexion, or the pale complexion could be because he's a vampire. She doesn't know he's a vampire, and he's going to bite her, (if she'll let him, hence him asking if she wants to leave the human race), and they'll live forever, together. I guess she says yes and so then she becomes a vampire (the part about her chin dripping a bloody colour of rust. It just makes sense. Supporting lyrics to that: "fangs are aching", "leave this human race", "pale complexion", "completely unaware of what I'm about to do", "your chin, it drips a bloody color of rust". |

This song is complete purely because of the lines: Explain to me How you're so damn naive Think I don't see, see? Forget what I said You're only good in bed Or on your knees, knees It just applies to so many situations, personally. Such a good song. |
