I have to disagree with everyone who says this song is about sex. That would be way to obvious for Bjork, too easy. It's about pregnancy. The bond between a mother and child is the strongest in the world. Her lyrics have too much love and devotion in them for them to be just about sex. "Who would have known That a boy like him After sharing my core Would stay going nowhere" These lyrics are a big clue. A boy shared her core (as in "middle of") in the most litteral sense and isnt going anywhere (at least for nine months anyways :P). |
