| AC/DC – Up To My Neck In You Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Agree with Angusfan - great song - one of the 'forgotten gems' from them. Fans of this song may be interested to know there was originally another verse which went something like:- "I’ve been up to my neck in money I've been up to my neck in debt I’ve been up to my neck in wild, wild women That I’m trying to forget. Tell you more I don't need it anymore...." which was dropped when they recorded the studio album. |

| James Blunt – 1973 Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Following is from an interview by UK newspaper The Daily Telegraph..... His new album, All the Lost Souls, is released by Custard/Atlantic on Sept 17. It is preceded by another ridiculously catchy single, 1973, already lodged at number 10 in the charts. Given that Blunt wasn't born until 1974, there has been a degree of mockery about a song recalling high times in a club with a girl called Simona in the titular year. "The club is Pascha, which opened in 1973," Blunt prosaically explains. "Obviously, names have been changed to protect the innocent; but Simona's a friend, and we spent far too much time in there. But 2006 didn't scan." |
