| Sublime – Garden Grove Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This is hands down my favorite Sublime song. Puts me in a good mood nomatter how shitty my day is going. The first verse is all positive in his life...hes content with the little things he has, his dog and his music. The second verse is all the negatives he has experienced or experiencing. The positives outweigh the negatives, and the song ends on a happy tune. Great. Fucking. Song. | |

I can't believe that no one has commented on this song yet. Twista is the man, and as this song shows, can lyrically run circles around 95% of all rappers of alltime. This song shows how he spits his game...pimp "The rhythm I kick, is like a rhythmly-wicked-arith-a-metic Pick em up quick and then give em the dick, thinkin I'm innocent Till they up in the mall shoppin for me pickin a fit" sick. |

| Taking Back Sunday – There's No 'I' In Team Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Obviously about the TBS/BN conflict...powerful song. Favorite verse: "And I've got a twenty-dollar bill that says you're up late night starting fist fights vs. fences in your backyard Wearing your black eye like a badge of honor Soakin' in sympathy from friends who never loved you nearly half as much as me" |

| The Early November – Decoration Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I agree with everyone who thinks that this song is about the pursuit of money, and the fake sense of happiness it brings. The character gets into the business world, then he is trapped working for some corporation ("We'll chain him to the bed so he won't run away")...he's not happy...then finally he realizes that he's just wasting his time ("It's all about the pointless perks that we all pay for to pay for ourselves") and that money has never bought anything but meaningless "decorations" in his life. | |
