Sea Change is so touching! I usually don't like Beck really, but Sea Change is a really great record! The lyrics and the sound is so well harmonized! The record is basically about heartbreak. And it's really hard to listen to "lost cause", "lonesome tears" and "guess i'm doing fine" without feeling a little sad and at the same time touched... |

This song is so sweet, i'd say the sweetest i've heard so far. It makes falling in love like a big bomb exploding inside of me every time i hear it. The sentences she says between, her imagination of the first kiss and so on, it's like in the old movies. Today one rarely falls in love that kind of way. I read some place recently, that a quarter of all people found their partner on the internet or in the paper, that's sad. I've always hoped love would be like in this song or movies like Amélie. |
