Evidence was found in the last 2 years that suggest Judas was actually asked my Jesus to appear to be a traitor to him. It was necessary for Jesus to be crucified for everything that resulted to happen. I think Menomena are savvy to the new info and wrote it accordingly. "i once believed you were my savior but now you're nothing but a traitor and still i'll wait for your return i get the feeling i have waited a whole lifetime in vain a lot to lose with nothing to gain" I think this means that Judas, throughout his life and subsequent centuries, was known as the traitor and just wants people to know that he was actually Jesus' most trusted friend who sacked up and took the fall.
