Honestly: yes, the lyrics suck. Also, it is the same damn beat in every song. And I normally avoid dance/trance/techno/whatever you want to call it like the plague. And yet, Cascada are my favourite band in the entire world. Why? Idk. But they're awesome. Who cares that the lyrics are crap - Natalie isn't claiming to be the next Tim Rice, she's pretty and can sing fantastically. What more do you want? |

I don't care either way. But Quiff has come here, made his point and been answered by a bunch of idots saying mainly that Ville is "like so hott!!". Yes, he is pretty, but Christ, is it not more insulting to like a band purely for how the singer looks than to just say "I don't like them". Meh. That's enough of my opinions for today. UrJoking has it just right, this song is about Boy George and Jon Moss. I just wanted to add that Jon left his fiancee for George but once they were together wasn't comfortable with a same-sex relationship despite saying he was bisexual, so that explains the "you come and go..." What I don't get is how a song borne of emotions like that could be so damned happy and catchy. Still, not complaining. It's one of the best songs ever, IMO. |

I can completely understand why people come onto this page and complain about the lyrics. They are absolutely disgusting, and people have the right to say that. However, they are completely missing the point. I don't like Cannibal Corpse - I'm not a fan of Death Metal (or whatever you want to call them, I'm bad at genres), the heaviest stuff I listen to is BMTH and Job For A Cowboy - but I respect the band because they are daring to write these sorts of lyrics and they are brilliant musicians too. All those people who like CC: don't immediately bash people for complaining about the lyrics. They are offensive, and regardless of the fact that that's why they were written, people will want to complain, and surely that was CC's idea? If people write their dislike in an intelligent way without saying "omg cannibal corpse are fucking rubbish", then it's a valid opinion. It doesn't mean that they listen to Britney Spears or N*Sync, or whatever else. And it doesn't make them "gay", "pussies" or anything else. And for all of those inarticulate idiots saying "cannibal copse are rubish", and "deth metal is shit" - stfu and get a life. If you're gonna comment, a) do it half intelligently, and b) don't write off a whole genre of music in your narrow minded little opinion. Apologies for the rant. |

I think this could be to do with Oli's friends stabbing him in the back, and he's telling them to make the most of it, cos "it wont last forever", because he will make something of himself (as he has done). And @ FackingHell - stfu. Yes Oli has gorgeous hair, but anyone can look at him without listening to the music. People may like Oli because of the hair, but it isn'tthe reason why they like the band. Sorry if I'm making absolutely no sense - blame a lack of sleep. |

It doesn't sound like Brendon to me. The pronounciation and tone of voice isn't right. I know that this was meant to be before his voice matured, but it still doesn't sound right. Lets not forget that Brendon was only 16-17 when the first P!atD demos were recorded. I think it sounds ike someone trying to sound like Brendon. But what do I know? |
