I think its pretty clear it's about being the 'Other' woman the main references i believe are... 'No fame'- is becasue it's a secret she cant be recognised for what shes doing. 'Il stand kind of pushed kind of bent'- suggest shes in an arkward position 'stand on this heavy land'- id say is implying that it's a diffcult situation/heavy situation And the most clearest reference being- 'Wash the stain Off his bed Not to split them up' The verses are describing the arkardness of the position shes in but chorus is just saying 'count me down' I think the music says alot about the song aswell it seems quite dark but still kind of fun! |

I saw them live and his voice is just a amazing as it is recorded! im not intirely sure but i think the song is about really wanting someone even though everything is against him. Maybe even a case of him already being in a relationship. Hes really confused and is fed up with it but in the end he knows he wont refuse her cause shes "too good to lose" "Im fed up in here in my atmosphere" |

I think tat the song is clearly about how she has been cheated on by her significant other. I think its about how the other person has lied to her. n the first versei think its just basically her comfroning the man about it asking him totell her the truth, The second vrse i think is about how she is looking back on the relationship and she can believe how she didnt see he was having affair " my memory is cruel" maybe things she is rememberithat seemed odd at the time are becoming clear. Alsoshe is saying how the other girls name sounds very familiar so he must have talked about her. thedo say that people having affairs with someone cant help bt talk about the 'other woman'. The third verse is about how she was considering and hoping they would have been able to of worked through it and that was herchoice. Buthis was to leave her for the other woman. So he had no choice but to move one. I think the last verse iis pretty self explanitory. The chorus, at the end, the way she sings it in a more louder, slightly upper beat way, almost seems sthough shes braking through and looking on the postive side. Then when she sings "between the lines" for the last te she the usic brakes down again and her voice getssofter and i think that shows how esily she is able to slip back into feeling of betrayal. |

I think that the song is about being with someone who she shouldn't be. let's just say the guy was already in another relationship. She knows she shouldn't go to him and afterwards she feel's used and quilty even though she keeps going back for me to find herself in the same situation. and in the end she has no one to blame other than herself. "Help, I have done it again I have been here many times before Hurt myself again today And, the worst part is there's no-one else to blame" Also you see how vulnerable she is the next part of the song makes me think that she's lonely and maybe that the reason why she keeps going back!... "Be my friend Hold me, wrap me up Unfold me I am small I'm needy Warm me up And breathe me" ^ this clearly shows that shes wanting and needing someone and how she wants someone to embrace her and to take her in. "Ouch I have lost myself again Lost myself and I am nowhere to be found, Yeah I think that I might break I've lost myself again and I feel unsafe" I think at this point of the song she's given in to temptaion again and she doesn't know where she stands or what any of it means. |
