It's pretty clear too me that the song is about a guy who made a comment to his girlfriend that his girlfriend took really hard and the guy didnt mean it and now hes trying to convince her that shes the one and he would do anything to have her |

Everyone is going to have a different meaning to this song, i think it has to do what happens to the events in your life. Too me the song means that he watched a friend grow up from when they were young, they were best friends and were always by themselves, hence why he calls them orphans, then as they were getting older his friend left, and he wants them to grow back up again cause he misses his best friend and what they shared together, they kept everything a secret about eachother and i think towards the end it leads to his friend dying, and he wants too see his friend one more time, before he goes forever, i think something along those lines is my meaning of the song. |
