I believe its about Jesus (and no I'm not one of those overly religious people that look for God in everything), but just hear me out. "Glow but don't shine A fuse for a blueprint, devices my hands built. For these roads want the rain and my raincoat, drown in the flash flood." Talking to Jesus "Glow but don't Shine" meaning go tell them about me but don't force them too. 'For these roads want the rain and my raincoat, drown in the flash flood." Meaning there are to many sinners and I don't want to flood the world again. "For we are alive, given air and not used to Al Fresco. Does the sun know today I forgot the zeros and ones?" Possibly talking about a job he gets stuck at "forgetting the zeros and ones" not remembering about the Lord and the "Sun/son". Told you to conquer the rush and on Sunday I remembered paper beats rock. Reached a mile high if I reached a foot. "On Sunday i remembered Paper beat Rock" could be the bible. And "Reached a mile high if I reached a foot." Meaning refreshing his belief in God. "Leopard skin is not above or beyond him, he's no more a prince than a frog is." Talking about Jesus wearing rags and that he could wear anything and its not above him or below him. "For these roads should not have shed for a witness, taken bites to avenge us." Talking about Jesus being Crucified and walking himself carrying his own cross to "Avenge" our sins. What do you guys think? |
