This song seems to be a criticism of a number of things... it seems to use examples of the music industry as a metaphor for how we take misleading visual cues to override our understanding of what makes better sense. A pretty picture is more easily understood than a sensible explanation, because we lack the patience to understand things on our own. "Don't talk about what happened 14 hours ago... It's OK if you smile." Very clever. |
