the fray is my friends favourite band, and i heard it ten minutes after i saw her moments away from crying on graduation. really gets me emotional every time i listen to it..
dont have an interpretation but this song does mean alot to me. 'in the end everyone ends up alone' line really is just perfect, for the occasion i heard it on. |

when i read this was written about civil rights i was surprised. i always thought it was about death. the song just reminds me of some beautiful song you might hear at a funeral. maybe that mixed with my literal-taking of the "ALL your life" bit. anyway, beautiful song. <3 the beatles. |

ive known of this song forever, but just recently has it meant anything to me. i didnt dislike it or anything, its just the meaning went far over my head but one day it came up on my zune and it almost brought me to tears. its so amazing when you uncover the meaning and see thats its just the advice you need. |

my science teacher played this in class one day and noticed one girl had the book 'go ask alice' and they started talking about it...
ive been reading the real alice in wonderland book and this song is surely about that
i dont know what to think about the book yet but i would surely not rule out it having loads to do with drugs |

i live in kansas and the weather was getting sorta bad one day when i was watching tv and the warning at the bottom of the screen said something about decatur and i smiled a REEAALL big smile :D of course i had to rewind it to make sure my eyes werent playing cruel tricks on me. |

i interpret this song as being from the point of view from a parent of a teenager. maybe the kid's name is andy. 'on the field i remember you were incredible' to me thats the parent just being proud of their kid maybe he was an athlete. the 'u think ur alone' part to me means like you cant do much without ur parents NOT knowing, like andy's trying to sneak around with something he's not supposed to do, maybe its like his parents warning him not to hide stuff from them. 'in a car with a girl promise me she's not ur world' means like they see andy going out and dating, and they know all the bad things that can happen in a relationship, and theyre partially scared of andy growing up 'leave your legacy in gold on the plaques that line the hall' wood be andy because this sorta goes with the whole athlete thing everyones assuming. 'on the streets such a sweet face jumping in town in the staff wen the verdict is in' maybe andy was an innocent kid and got in the wrong crowd and got involved with things that led him to court maybe. and of course the 'andy ur a star in nobody's eyes but mine' thats a total parent line right there.
