I thought it was obviously about Catholicism and sex... especially "I confessed my darkest deeds to an envious man My brothers they never went blind for what they did" |

| Incubus – Here In My Room Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think it's meant to be be ambiguous- at the same time it's about sex and it's not. It doesn't really matter what they do in their room, but it's the impact on him, and the way he sees it. Whatever happens it's something beautiful and deep, and the way she makes him see things. ("now show me the world seen as seen from the stars") | |
| R.E.M. – E-Bow The Letter Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I love the sadness Stipe echoes... And the E-bow. I think from the "this fame/star thing, I don't get it" shows some of the weariness in his status. |

| Crowded House – Nobody Wants To Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song is definitely about depression. The theme of the album feels like it's dedicated to Paul Hester (title, cover art), and being the first track, Nobody Wants To relates to what he went through. Heartbreaking track- worth listening to and thinking about. I love it. |
