well I love this song I dont think it's too complicated, just explaining how he thinks she is the one and it could be a good opportunity if they give it some time. It reminds me of a guy I used to like. I got kind of tired that our "relationship" was moving really slow, but I liked him alot so it allowed me to wait and let it go somewhere, because I thought it could be a great opportunity to love someone. |

It kinda reminded me of a experience with a guy I met that I chatted online with everday, no fail. But when we saw eachother in person things went by so slowly and we both didn't know what to do with ourselves. It eventually ended, and the moment it did I felt like my life had lost all meaning, because I had been thinking about him and wanting him for so long but I never truly got him. And I felt like the romance we had wasted me. I dont think thats what the song is about though. |

I just wanna say that this reminds me so much of something that has happened to me. Me and my friend where fighting and I finally just said "God maybe everyone would just be happier if I wasnt here" she said "Dont even start with the suicidal shit" and it hurt me so much because I didnt understand how she could not care that I felt that way. "Show me anger Fierce fists clutching onto air. Show me anthing. Just show me you care." I wouldnt care if she was angry with me for acting suicidal because it scared her, or if she hugged me and told me it was all okay. I just wanted to know that she cared. |

it's about a girl being changed buy someone, and that person pretty much created her by stealing her innocence "Can't even try to remember what I knew. Before I became your model to claim no." It was like it was who she was all along, and she couldn't remember who she used to be. Anyways, it reminds me of a movie called white oleander because it is about a girl who is at first innocent but then her mother kills someone and gets sent to jail, so she lives in numerous foster homes and gets exposed to things she hadnt been exposed to before. One part in the movie made me make this connection. It was when she was living with a different family and one of the girls that lived with her was sneaking out of the house at night, and so she kind of looked at her with an innocent "why are you doing that" expression and she just says "Dont look at me like that. Youre exactly like me, you just dont know it yet." So the song and the movie have similar meanings. In both they lose their innocence, wich is referred to in the song as a masterpeice. And this song helped me understand the movie too. Sorry if this is a bit confusing |

this song is really beautiful I think it is basically about a guy named Adam who meets someone else and he tells her that he would leave his current lover for them, but before he does, someone else tells Mary that Adam is leaving her. It sounds like this is coming from the prespective of a friend of Mary's maybe, or the other woman "Oh play along. she wills it. Oh Sunday came. Promised you'd tell her." So maybe the person was playing along and pretended she didnt know Adam was going to break up with Mary, and she waited untill sunday for him to tell her but he didn't, so she met with Mary to tell her I'm not quite sure what "Meet me at the pictures Mary" means, but obviously she's meeting her somewhere So to sum it all up, I think its basically about someone wanting Adam to just tell her, hence "Tell her, tell Mary" |
