PS: does anyone have the actual cd with the lyric sheet? I've read 'Rudie Can't Fail' and 'Rudie Gonna Fail' as a lyrics on different websites and I would like to know which one is sung here. I know Rudie Can't Fail is a song by the Clash, but I though maybe they were responding to it by saying rudie gonna fail. Does anyone know? |

I read in an interview that Nicky wrote this song: It's just people latching onto certain songs and making connections in their own heads, linking it all with this cult of Richey. At the very end of the song (@ around 2:49), he says something before Revol. Does anyone know? I thought it might be "Shot down the Revol", but i'm not sure. Also what is the last thing JDB says in the song (after the last 'fila fila' @ 2:58)? I can't understand him. I sometimes find it difficult to understand him. :) Much thanks, xxShelbie |

This is my favorite song on the album so far. The way he says "one bread, one milk, one food that's all" is the way doctors talk about food on eating disorders units. like pizza is an entree (one bread, one protein) i wonder if maybe he is referencing that? "Makes me feel like I'm talking a foreign language sometimes" i can't help but think maybe he is talking about the human condition and they way that no one listens to the people around them. so many people are screaming out for help but no one listens. "Pretend humility, the ugly lie" reminds me of celebrities and politicians that fake humbleness and humility to further themselves. "It's not 'What's wrong?' It's 'What's right?'" It's like everything, the state of the world , humanity, anything, is so far gone that it would be easier to say what is right. it would be a shorter list in any case. That's my two cents worth anyway. |

i just listened to this on their myspace and im pretty certain its about Gerard Way. theres a quieter sort of interlude part where bert puts on a voice and says: "i dont feel okay, i dont feel alright, Help me, i dont know." teamed with his mad laughing that he so good at. the whole "not feeling okay" thing is in this song and pretty handsome awkward which is also most definately about Gerard. it does sound like his bad drink and drugs days. if he is 'The Liar' it makes me wonder what he did... ^^^^ That is the best fucking part of the song :D Best song off the cd. |
