i think it's told from the perspective of the (wolf) a "bad guy" but he's really just a normal dude. he kinda rationalizes walking with her to keep her safe but he really wants to be with her himself. there is internal conflict where he doesn't want to live up to the big bad wolf stereo type by holding her so he waits and resists the temptation. he also tries to get her to see things his way but i don't think she listens. this is such a cool song, really portrays some of the feelings guy have when perusing a women. |

it's gotta be a funeral from the title.it was snowing. the rest about the whole guy and girl relationship is foggy. i'm not sure it's even there. but there is a hint. got gretchen has the best female voice, right up there with regina spektor. |
