@[Birdstrike:35979]
Michael commands an angelic army. “Michael and his angels battled with the dragon,” Satan. (Revelation 12:7) Michael has great authority in the spirit realm, for he is called “one of the foremost princes” and “the great prince.” (Daniel 10:13, 21; 12:1) These titles designate Michael as “the commander-in-chief of the angelic forces,” as New Testament scholar David E. Aune puts it.
The Bible mentions only one other name of someone having authority over an army of angels. It describes “the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance.” (2 Thessalonians 1:7, 8; Matthew 16:27) Jesus “went to heaven, and angels and authorities and powers were made subject to him.” (1 Peter 3:21, 22) It would not make sense for God to set up Jesus and Michael as rival commanders of the holy angels. Rather, it is more reasonable to conclude that both names, Jesus and Michael, refer to the same person.
Michael “will stand up” during an unprecedented “time of distress.” (Daniel 12:1) In the book of Daniel, the expression “stand up” is often used to refer to a king who rises up to take special action. (Daniel 11:2-4, 21) Jesus Christ, identified as “The Word of God,” will take special action as the “King of kings” to strike down all of God’s enemies and protect God’s people. (Revelation 19:11-16) He will do so during a time of “great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning.”—Matthew 24:21, 42. |

| First Aid Kit – Ghost Town Lyrics

It's a ghost story. The 'ghost' was a heart-broke woman who killed herself on RR tracks and is now "attached" to them. The guy moved on and married, had kids. (just to note, there are no disembodied spirits...if you see a ghost, it's just a demon/fallen angel pretending to be someone they're not. When you die, you're just...dead). |

It's a silly girl to scoff at the notion of eternity when it's offered; or anyone for that matter. Quite easy though when in youth, old age and deteriorating health seem like a distant land. I'd rather accept loving and wise limitations with allowances for my imperfections and have more than the boneyard to look forward to. The delusion is on you sweetheart; if only you could see what's really going on. |

it's an obvious knock against Texas "though it's a part of the Lone Star State, they don't seem to care, they just keep looking to the East"...never knew why though...but in concert in Dallas this summer, he sort of mumbled these lyrics haha, i was keen on how he'd handle it |

| Fleet Foxes – White Winter Hymnal Lyrics

The imagery that came to mind immediately was the singer was mushing a pack of sled dogs with thick winter coats of fur and their necks tied with red scarves maybe to see them easier in blinding snow storms or after sleeping getting heaps of snow on them and need to find them??...then a competetor 'Michael' would always try to make a move but inevitably lose his grip of the sled and bust his face on the sled while falling to the ground then bleed profusely.
I don't see kids being meant...since when does anywhere refer to a group of kids as a pack?
I do like songs with vague meanings; like many of YES' songs...even the song-writer can't tell you what the song means since it came in inspiration or WUI. hah |

Why do you guys think everything is so freakin symbolic?!! Guys make love to fruit all the time, Page just preferred tangerines and happened to get quite enamored with one in particular that finally rotted away(slips away to GREY-i.e. mold) and he couldn't hold on to it (her) anymore. |

Page was a bit critical of this album but maybe if he wasn't dating a heroin needle, he would have made more of a mark on it, no? Tangerine is a soft song but then Page added that remarkable solo that then made it 'hard'.... |

obviosly the 'feather' refers to his son...he could chase his memory that's blowing away like a feather and thereby ruin his marriage or gather strength, accept it and move on |
