| I think being lost at sea might be a metaphor for life. I picture a guy who just expected to live his life normally and instead found himself caught up in a rather complicated relationship with a girl that has brought adventure to his life. So, while what he's experiencing might be dangerous and may eventually tear him to pieces, he feels that this hurricane of a girl has actually saved him from a boring life.
