I agree with lovelyritalucy about the first verse being a guy and to specify, one who is more concerned about having the type of sex he's having (unprotected) and doesn't care about the woman. First two lines are about how he is choosing not wear a condom. Helmet and Raincoat are both common metaphors for condoms. The blood could be the woman losing her virginity. The disregard for bandages and "roll right off" shows the man's lack of concern for what has just happened to the woman. He could just go take a shower, wash it off and be on his way. |
