I saw him in concert last year where he said this was his favorite song off the album. Then he told us what it was about when he wrote it. He was under pressure from his label so he shut him self up in a room and penned this about the pressures the label was putting on him. "Agenda." He came out of the room and recorded it and it ended up on the album. He's amazing live. Good show. |

The songs seems to be about regretting not having a son and what that son could have been and the instruction for mothers to love theirs and to protect them. The narrator says that he is one of many more to come. It seems that there is something that caused him not to be a father and that it has happened to many more and that he won't be the last. It seems to be the degradation of society in a way. Idk, that's just what I take from it. |

This song now is representing a really important part in my life. I have a best friend who has gone through a lot of bad bad things in her life. She's basically lived in emotional pain her entire life and she's nearly to the point where she is numb to everything. Through late night conversations I've been trying to help her with her emotional baggage and such. We both have loved this song and it was brought up last night. Where I asked if I could be the one who saves her. She responded, "God, I hope so." And so do I. And so... I am trying to be her "wonderwall." I am trying to save her in a way. Very special meaning in this song for us. |

I saw an interview with the writer of this song. Up until the bridge it where his daughters leaving for the west coast it is a true story. The bridge is very important because his daughter died at an early age. The song was written on her 18th birthday and the bridge is what he envisioned her being at that age. Very emotional. Love the song! |
