I think this could be Chris talking about wanting to leave Audioslave, and just be on his own. "Burned and fallen down so many times before" could mean how his previous bands fell apart, and not wanting to happen again, or "I won't fly around your fire anymore." And "I love the heat I love the things that I forgot" could mean how much he loved going it solo. Just my two cents... |
