Okay...I've been reading a lot of the comments for Nirvana songs on this site and I just want to say right off that on the video "Live! Tonight! Sold Out!" Kurt Cobain says that some of their songs are silly and meaningless and that they aren't trying to be cryptic about anything, and that he wants you to take from them what you will. ANYWAY! To me, this song is about purely love. I almost want to say it is love in the form of a disgusting relationship, much like Sid and Nancy possibly? Where it drains you emotionally, but you don't care because your love is so deep. As far as the baby part goes, I always took that to elude to being with someone who you have know/feel like you have known your whole life. |
