I think that Bob is playing the part of a doctor or something, and he is talking to a patient with a devastating diesease, like cancer...
And I think that what he is trying to say is that the 'lurker making rounds' is the dieease, and so Bob is telling the patient that even though his job is to cure that person, he doesn't want them to leave the hospital because he'd miss them...like how Suze in the mediator series doesn't want Jesse to pass on.
Yes, my interpetation of this doesn't make sense. Oh well. |

I don't understand what the first stanza has to do with the rest of the song...I guess two people were lost...in a car...in traffic...and maybe...they were in a "brawl"...hmm...and maybe the gossip part means like...a lot of people know about their breakup...and they feel so sick of fighting and loving each other but they can't break up because they just can't be alone....this is confusing |
