I am this oldest child f/48. I have two brothers 46 and 44. And one sister 37. Dad passed five years ago and we four were somewhat close. But when Mom passed two years ago, my two brothers argued over funeral arrangements. So they haven't talked since. So, the youngest brother and sister haven't talked two my other brother. And somehow, since I am still talking to my brother (46y/o), the two youngest siblings haven't talked and won't have anything to do with us. Needless to say, this also now involves nieces and and nephew that we have no contact with now all over nothing (to me). Anyways, AIC has been my fav band for sometime now. I listen to this song everyday now and think of the way my youngest brother has pulled away from me. Always brings a tear to my eye.. |

This song is one of the most powerful song lyrics I have EVER heard....It is a song about Andrew Wood, however, it could easily apply to others and things they are going through in their lives. When you think about Andrew Wood when you hear this song, it absolutely sends chills through me. The thing also that gets me is that it applies to Layne also... R.I.P. Andrew and Layne |
